“This book proposes an imaginative journey through the natural elements invoked by maestro Artemio Posadas’ verses in his album, “The Whispering Wind”. It is a poetic tribute to the Huasteca region in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí, its music and its people. It includes sumptuously adorned pages with accompanying photography.”

—Everardo Rodríguez, Rare Books Librarian, Special Collections, Stanford University

“The poetry contained in this book draws us and, at the same time, praises part of the great richness of this millenary region. To read it is to meet again from a distance, with the simplicity of its people and traditions.”

—Dr. Artemio Posadas

“The book suggests feeling the image described in its poetry, feel the ground, the stone and the horizon; you can clearly hear the bird’s song in the morning, and you can notice the humble veneration of the little rays of sunshine when at dawn they silently look out towards life!”
